Still Life with Spoon - SOLD

"Still Life with Spoon", 10 x 12 In, Oil on Museum Board SOLD
I am having a lot of fun with these still lifes--with broad brushstrokes, gray colors and lines. There is an interesting edge between what a set-up actually looks like and what the hand delivers.

  1. Kathryn,
This is really nice-fresh and lovely colors. Did you finish the PKR videos? I need to order those. Did you get the second set?

  2. Really strong. The values have serious punch!

  3. Lovely painting! I really like the treatment of the small blue vase.
This phrase, ..."what the hand delivers..." is very meaningful to me; a great way of expressing personal interpretations.

  4. This one looks like it is dancing. I'd love to see what the original setup looks like before "the hand delivers!"

  5. Beautiful. The colors and brushwork......so great!

  6. Thanks everyone for your comments! I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the setup. That would be an interesting thing to do.
